What it is
ACCA Manual N is the load calculation procedure for light-commercial buildings. It includes internal gains from people, lighting and equipment, outdoor ventilation air, and schedules of use.
We pair it with light-commercial equipment selection, ACCA Manual Q duct design and VRF design when the project calls for them. We run it in Wrightsoft, the industry-standard software for ACCA Manuals.

Commercial mechanical permits generally require a load calculation to justify equipment size, and energy code compliance on the same project often depends on it.

Can you design the ductwork too?
Yes. Commercial duct design follows ACCA Manual Q, and we can include it.
Do you stamp commercial drawings?
We are ACCA-trained designers, not a PE firm. If your jurisdiction requires a sealed mechanical plan, tell us up front and we will coordinate with your engineer of record.
