- Window sizes and types, or a window schedule
- Insulation values for walls, ceiling and floor
- The project address
- The equipment type you plan to use, and any brand preference
- What your building department asked for, or its comment letter if the permit was rejected
What slows things down
- Plans without dimensions
- Unknown window specs on a glass-heavy design
- Changing equipment after Manual S is done
- Finding out late that the jurisdiction also wants an energy report
